It used to be that rivet flares were for old Datsun Skylines or Z-cars, though that’s clearly changed over the last few years. Rauh Welt’s use of wide rivet flares on Porsche 911s rocketed the look back into the style spotlight, while firms like Liberty Walk have maybe taken them even more mainstream, at least in terms of modern cars. Yesterday we stumbled upon a new (or maybe just new to us) carbon fiber component company when they posted to our Facebook page. Carbon Works Berlin appears to be well established as a maker of OEMplus-looking carbon fiber components for a number of marques and mainly Audi.
