Here’s an interesting bit of traffic legislation that’s come across our desks from the state of Pennsylvania. It appears that on Monday, the Pennsylvania House Transportation Committee has passed an amendment to a bill that would give drivers the option to proceed “with caution” through a red light found to be unresponsive.

2015 Audi RS3 Drive Mattias Ekstrom 326 600x300 photo

One of the things we hate about being new media in a world still run by largely old media rules is that we didn’t get to drive the new Audi RS 3 Sportback just yet. You see, the European press got a stab at hooning them in the snow and such in Finland, and sharing […] More…

Audi has made no secret of the fact that they wish to expand their lineup of TT models to beyond the current coupé and Roadster offerings. We’ll be honest, we’ve been lucky over the years to drive some pretty insane cars. From the latest RS-models to prototype test mules and even concept cars, Audi has been most generous to us in allowing us to get behind the wheel of some ridiculous cars. Then again, we think all of this might pail in comparison when it comes to Jason Harper who recently got to do some laps at Misano in the 2014 spec Le Mans winning Audi R18 e-tron quattro #2.

Over the last week and a half you may have been noticing Audi TT and TTS reviews spilling forth from the usual automotive outlets. Don’t Speed in Virginia: Jalopnik Editor’s Story of High MPH & Consequences

by on 6 August 2014 in via Fourtitude

I’ve always sort of thought Virginia hates cars, or perhaps drivers. It’s a front license plate state. It has a car tax whereby car owners are taxed annually based on value and number of cars they own. It is a state where radar detectors are illegal, in-state drivers pay even more inflated fines than out-of-state drivers, and speeds over 20 mph will land you in jail.

In many ways, the Audi R8 LMX is essentially the second-generation R8 GT. Oh yeah, it also boasts laser lit headlights. It is the latest and greatest production Audi R8 to date, so it was with great interest that we saw Car & Driver European contributor Jens Meiners had driven the car and filed a report. More…

Audi AG’s corporate technology officer (and head of development) Dr. Ulrich Hackenberg is essentially the man in Ingolstadt. At a brand known for engineering and technology, his position is critical to the marque. And, while newly named to this position, Hackenberg is not new to Audi nor its development wing. Quite the opposite actually.
