Q: How long have you owned this car?
A: I have had this car since April of 2003
Q: Is there anything unique about the history of your car?
A: A short in the fuel pump destroyed my first engine configuration.
Q: What was your objective for this car?
A: To make a stock looking car that would be capable of spanking Evo’s, Sti’s, M3’s, M5’s, and the 360 Modena.
Q: What tuning style would you describe this car as?
A: M-series killer
Q: Who helped you build this car?
A: Several people helped me, but mainly it was the bank. Others that helped were Autostrada, Underground VW, and DCK Motorsports
Q: What makes your car special?
A: I fabricated everything myself.
Q: What is your favorite part/feature/function?
A: The stock outward appearance, I would fix this but I have no money left over. The advantage of this is sneaking up on unsuspecting cars.
Q: Who or what inspired the direction of modifications on this car?
A: Not entirely sure. I really wanted an S4 but was unable to get one. So I decided to make a car that was faster.
Q: What don’t you like about your car?
A: It drinks gas, eats tires, and pollutes the O-zone.
Q: What would you change if you could?
A: The exterior of the car, I would like to go with an OEM S4 kit.
Q: On a scale of 1 to 10, how satisfied are you with the outcome of this car?
A: I am totally pleased, it has done everything I have asked it too. It beats Sti’s and Evo’s at the stoplights; spanks the Z06 on the highway, outruns the M-series in front of the BMW dealerships; and embarrasses the Modena owners time and time again.
Q: What would you do to the car if money were of no object?
A: Swap in the V10 from the Dodge Viper.
Q: Who has been the biggest critic of this project?
A: Myself, I’m always “fixing” something and more often than not the part doesn’t need to be fixed.
Q: What do your family and friends say about your car?
A: They say that it is foolish and immature, a black hole for all my money.
Q: What’s your favorite place to drive this car?
A: Old Spicewood Springs rd. It’s a twisty, hilly, two-laned road that follows a stream.
Q: What is your ideal day with this car?
A: A cold, damp, fall morning. Makes AWD power slides all the easier.
Q: Who gets to drive this car?
A: Actually I’m not anal about this car. Sometimes ill lend it to a friend for a weekend.
Q: If your car had a motto, what would it be?
A: “Killing one ricer at a time”
Q: If your car had a name, what would you name it?
A: “King D”
Q: What was your previous project?
A: 1987 mustang 5.0 LX
Q: What is your next project?
A: 1987 Buick Grand National.
Q: What one word best describes your car?
