Audi Continues Global Growth, Moves 164,350 Units in April

Audi has reported their global sales number for April, and things continue to look quite good for the brand.  In 31 days, Audi delivered 164,350 new vehicles last month, up 7.5 percent from April of last year.  Of those roughly 3.6 cars sold every minute in April, 78,250 of them found new homes in Europe, where growth in Spain (17.6%), Italy (15%), and Germany (12.4%) was especially strong.  Overall, Audi saw their largest increase in Mexico, delivering 29.9% more vehicles than the previous year.

This global growth was led by strong demand for the all-new Q7 and A4, seeing demand increasing 67.5 and 34.7 percent.  More remarkably, Audi sold 32,100 new A4s worldwide before the model has been introduced in China, traditionally one of the model’s strongest markets.
