Just before the current-generation Audi R8 ends production, Audi China has announced two limited edition models that are nearly as hard-edged as the vaunted R8 GT. First up is the Audi R8 Limited Edition, with just 30 examples planned.

That’s right, there are only 30 such R8 models in the entire China. That’s why we endow it with every unimaginable perfect element. Maybe there are only 27 people have a chance to own it when you finish this line.
Exclusive Exterior Color – Cool Nordic Gold
The most difficult thing to master is not hp but style. You don’t have a chance to keep a low profile in front of a shining gold car. Audi R8 Limited Edition adopts unique Nordic gold colors. The front and rear air intakes/outlets and lightweight tailpipes are in matte black. The front and rear slats and rear bumper (partially) are in matte titanium grey. The front spoiler, flics, sideblades, exterior mirrors, fixed rear wing, enlarged diffuser are in carbon matte.

One of the reasons that carbon fiber can’t be widely used is that it can’t be extruded like metal. It can only be shaped at the beginning of material making. Therefore, few luxurious cars use carbon fiber in body and interior except for this R8.
The Audi single-frame grille is finished in matte black, with a radiator grille surround and bars in matte titanium grey. Wheels are the same 19-inch 5-twin spoke design as the R8 GT in titanium finish.
Exclusive Interior Detail
Central to the interior design is the aluminum gear knob with limited edition number, the embodiment of prestige. Cars will be numbered from 1 to 33 without the numbers 4, 14 and 24. Sport bucket seats are finished in black Alcantara with contrasting stitching and piping in trim colour; headlining in Alcantara with contrasting stitching; knee pad in shark skin black with contrast stitching; centre console inlays and door trim inserts in body colour; monoposto and door pulls use inlays in carbon matt; doors and centre console are painted in body colour.
The instrument cluster includes black dials featuring the R8 emblem. The logo also carris over to the aluminum insert on the door sills.
