Audi adopts a new approach in China: Audi City Beijing is opening today in the center of this metropolis in the north of China, the first digital Audi showroom in Asia. “With Audi City Beijing, we bring a new exclusive and futuristic brand experience right to the midst of the urban lives of the people in Beijing,” says Luca de Meo, Member of the Board of Management for Sales and Marketing at AUDI AG. “The vibrant capital of our largest sales market worldwide is a perfect location for this innovative digital showroom concept.”
Audi City Beijing is located on Changan Street in the heart of Beijing and close to Tiananmen Square. Visitors to Audi City for the first time have the opportunity to fully experience the range of Audi models available in China – including the colors, optional extras and functions. Thanks to innovative media technology, they can digitally individualize an automobile from several million possible configurations, and can experience it true to life on large screens on a scale of 1:1. With floor space of 2,100 square meters, the two-story cyberstore also has space for 14 show cars as well as for cultural events and exhibitions.
After London, this is the second Audi City location worldwide. The next Audi City will open soon in Berlin.
