We literally just ran a story about APR teasing a shot of their upcoming RS 5 supercharger upgrade on Facebook, and just 24 hours later they’re at it again with an early look at dyno graphs from their upcoming 4.0 TFSI ECU upgrade. Not surprisingly, the numbers look…. robust.
From looking at the graph, the firm’s S7 development car baselined at 400 hp and 420 ft-lbs. of to torque. What is said to be their stage 1 ECU upgrade appears to net +90 hp and +150 ft-lbs. Not too shabby, though it’ll be interesting to see how the car’s S tronic transmission holds up to the jump. It should be noted that Audi switched the RS 6 and RS 7 to the more higher torque-rated Tiptronic used in the S8 for their own high output configurations.
Rumor has it that the official numbers and announcement will be coming out next week. Until then, we leave you with this dyno graph with which to salivate.
