You have to figure test mule drivers are pretty familiar with spy photographers who hang about around places like the Nurburgring. We imagine they have an uneasy relationship, made no less so when one walks up and fires off their camera into the side window of a test mule. It appears that’s exactly what happened here.
In addition to sending over the first images of the Audi A5 Cabriolet, our sources also sent us these two shots of the A5 coupe’s cockpit. We’re guessing the car’s driver was not amused.
So what have we learned from this shoot? As you might expect, just as the old A5 shares the A4’s interior, so too will the upcoming B9. This means you’ve likely seen pictures of the car’s dashboard, and we know from that the big main screen will be fixed – a critique, making the setup nowhere near as trick as applications like the A3 or A6.
