If you follow along with the Audi Exclusive posts here  on Fourtitude, than you may come to believe that Sport Classic Grey is the new black. The mad men at quattro GmbH have been busily experimenting with the shade on an R8 V10 displayed at Le Mans and a new RS 4 displayed in the Audi Exclusive showroom in Neckarsulm. And though we’ve been admiring these factory-specced cars, we’re even more encouraged spotting this 2013 S5 just delivered to the publisher of the IAmAudi.com blog.

For those keeping track, Sport Classic Grey is the same paint code as was used on the limited edition Porsche 911 Sport Classic. Though technically a Porsche factory color, it’s a hue that quattro GmbH has taken a shine to and have thus begun to experiment with.

Like Suzuka Grey, it’s not the easiest color to translate into photographies. It’s not far off from ‘Buick Beige’ in pictures, but trust us when we tell you that in person it is very, very cool. We’re fans, and so too is Scott Mitchell, the social media mind behind Audi Wilsonville and the publisher of IAmAudi.com. Scott liked it so much that he ordered his new S5 that way. Even better for all, he’s just posted photos of his new coupe.
