After victories in the WEC and DTM on the final weekend in August, the Audi drivers were popular ambassadors for their brand at various events in the following week.
Le Mans winners in Moscow: Marcel Fässler, André Lotterer and Benoît Tréluyer travelled to Moscow after they took victory in the WEC race in Great Britain. The three Le Mans winners from Audi were popular guests at the Moscow International Motor Show during the market launch of the S6, S7 and S8 models in Russia. The new Audi R8 was also one of the automobile stars of the motor show.
DTM race drivers in Berlin: on Wednesday Rahel Frey and Timo Scheider visited the ‘Der Goldene Computer’ prize-giving held by the trade magazine Computer Bild. The charming Audi brand ambassadors cut fine figures on the red carpet. Rahel Frey’s Audi A5 DTM, which also advertises for the Computer Bild Spiele magazine, was the main attraction in front of the Springerhaus building in Berlin.
Classic in Graubünden: Marcel Fässler visited the Arosa ClassicCar in the Swiss ski resort of the same name at the weekend. Audi made its debut as main sponsor for the international hill climb. Fässler and former world class skier Didier Cuche gave guests an unrivalled impression of the 7.8 kilometer long hill climb as passengers in Race Taxi rides with the S, RS and R8 models. The Audi Sport quattro S1, with which Audi won the Pikes Peak hill climb in Colorado 25 years ago, was there for all to see for the first time.
Parade in Hittnau: Rahel Frey visited the Oldtimer Classic Hittnau in Canton Zürich on Sunday. The Audi factory driver was her usual pleasant self as ambassador of her sport.
