Many journalists and employees of Audi Sport used the opportunity to witness two important races on a single weekend: Head of Audi Motorsport Dr. Wolfgang Ullrich, Head of Engine Technology Ulrich Baretzky, Chris Reinke, Head of LMP at Audi Sport, the Le Mans winners Dindo Capello and Allan McNish, plus many others, watched the WEC race at Spa-Francorchamps on Saturday and the DTM season opener at Hockenheim on Sunday.

Audi factory driver André Lotterer treated himself to a private race in his Belgium homeland between the two WEC events at Silverstone and Spa-Francorchamps: he contested the Belgian Youngtimer Cup at Zolder in an 1981 Audi Coupé and finished second.
Andre Lotterer Visits Chocolaterie [source: Audi Sport]
Audi factory driver André Lotterer has visited the Chocolaterie Wittamer for a TV production prior to the Spa WEC race. The 32-year old German who was brought up in Belgium learned the sweet art of chocolate manufacturing in Brussels from chef pâtissier Christophe Roesem. The race driver showed his skills in producing a nice decoration on the chocolate glaze of a cake.
WEC Visit from GT Personalities [source: Audi Sport]
Several GT racing personalities visited Audi at the Spa WEC round. Vincent Vosse, Team Director of Belgian Audi Club Team WRT, chief technician René Verbist and race driver Laurens Vanthoor (B) were guests of Audi. The WRT squad has successfully entered the Audi R8 LMS ultra since 2010 in various racing series and won the FIA GT Series last year with Laurens Vanthoor and Stéphane Ortelli.
