Press conference at the Kart track: The DTM is inviting to a press conference before its season finale at Hockenheim. Audi factory driver Mike Rockenfeller and two other DTM racers will answer questions by the media at Planet Kart in Mannheim on Monday, starting at 10:30.
Strong on television: At the TV total Stock Car Crash Challenge aired on ProSieben, Timo Scheider was rewarded for his endurance on Saturday night. In the rodeo discipline in which all vehicles that are still drivable participate, only the two-time DTM Champion and the former Formula 1 driver Adrian Sutil were left in the decision for the ultimate winner. However, as both stock cars gave up the ghost at the same time the race directors decided the race would end in a draw and for the first time honored two winners in the subsequent podium ceremony.
Recommendation by the pro: Edoardo Mortara was involved in a film production featuring the new Audi R8 since the beginning of October. The Audi factory driver tested particularly scenic routes in Italy. They will be recommended to future customers of the sports car in the form of a video road-book that presents the routes in detail.
Project title defense: Edoardo Mortara is returning to the Macau Grand Prix. The Audi factory driver won the tradition-steeped Formula 3 Grand Prix there in 2009 and 2010 and decided the GT Cup in his favor at the wheel of the Audi R8 LMS last year. This year, he is aiming to celebrate his fourth consecutive victory at the city street race on November 18 in a privately entered Audi R8 LMS ultra. 33 entrants representing seven different brands have registered for the GT race.
