At the sixth round of the FIA GT1 World Championship season at the Slovakia-Ring, the Audi racers scored points. In the qualification race on Saturday, Stéphane Ortelli and Laurens Vanthoor in the Audi R8 LMS ultra took fifth place. After Vanthoor had dropped from fourth to eighth place at the start, the duo recovered to position five. A pit stop that took longer because a wheel nut could not be loosened cost them a better final place. Their team-mates Oliver Jarvis and Frank Stippler were represented in the group of front runners in the early phase but forced to retire after a puncture. In the main race on Sunday, Stippler/Jarvis and Vanthoor/Ortelli took positions four and five.
