If you’re watching Le Mans then you likely know the story. In the last hour Audi R18 #3 with Romain Dumas at the wheel slid off the course and went into the tires. After getting out of the car and ripping the bodywork off of the car, Dumas was able to navigate the car back to the pits.
A lot has happened in the race since that time not long ago. The leading Audi R18 #1 was passed by the Toyota for the first time losing the lead. There was a tremendous battle and then attention shifted to an intense accident between the other Toyota with Anthony Davidson at the wheel that was hit by a Ferrari. We’re working on further updates but in the meantime, here are a few pics of Romain Dumas returning down pit row.
Incidentally, by now the #3 R18 has returned to the track.
