Sebring Poster and Coke Carrier Trumpet Race’s 55th Running

The Mobil 1 Twelve Hours of Sebring – the opening round of the 2007 American Le Mans Series – is less than two months away. A pair of key merchandising and collectable items now available is helping to heighten the anticipation of the March 17 once-around-the-clock event.

First is the official poster for the 55th annual Mobil 1 Twelve Hours of Sebring is now on sale. Since the first 12-hour classic in 1952, Sebring has produced a souvenir race poster for every race. Many of these are now valuable collector’s items.

This year’s poster, a painting by Roger Warrick, features several of the leading competitors in the American Le Mans Series including the defending race and Series champion Audi R10 TDI, the new Acura-powered LMP2 entry from Lowe’s Fernandez Racing, and the Penske Motorsports Porsche RS Spyder.
