For the third and final installment of Audi’s RS Moments of Truth YouTube series, time pushes ahead to 2011. The fabled run at Le Mans is revisited and compared with the new Audi RS 5. We’ve just viewed the short and find it well worth the visit. Though we were at Le Mans in 2011 and have seen Audi’s Truth in 24 II documentary numerous times, we still found ourselves learning more about the race from works driver Benoit Treluyer and his race engineer Leena Gade. Watching the piece, you’ll also learn a few things about the new RS 5 from quattro GmbH chassis development manager Michael Kerber, like how those cool-looking wave brake rotors save weight and improve performance.
