While an industry show like Geneva is normally geared more toward production cars, Audi chose to place considerable emphasis on its own motorsport endeavors this year. At any given time, no less than three Audi racecars were in the spotlight on the Audi stand – the new R8 LMS ultra, the Daytona-winning Audi R8 GRAND-AM and of course the newly named Audi RS 5 DTM. These competition models, as well as some of Audi’s production launches, were also presented by a large number of Audi Sport’s own factory drivers.

We’re expecting news any minute from Audi Sport’s reception being held this evening (German time) that may include any number of announcements, and we suspect GRAND-AM plans will be among the headlines.
