Presented by Air Lift, the event is now in its second year and attracts many of the coolest enthusiast-built and/or modified cars. Even better, there’s a fair Audi contingent on hand.

Audi is presenting the A3 clubsport quattro concept at this year’s Wörthersee Meeting in Reifnitz (Kärnten) from May 28–31. The concept study is based on the S3 Sedan* and has a five-cylinder TFSI engine under the hood producing 386 kW (525 hp). Visitors can also see the Audi TT quattro sport concept show car, which debuted at the 2014 Geneva Motor Show, and ten production models. More…

Event: Early Edition 2014

Organized by the same group behind the UK’s keystone Edition 38, Early Edition is now in its fourth year. Much like Edition 38, the show is the kind of place where trends are set. Many of England’s most extremely modified Audis are put on display here, and as usual, the Brits do not disappoint when it comes to their cars. Early Edition proves to give a good preview of what will be seen at the other events across Europe this show season.

Technically it’s a Mk1. Last weekend we headed to a small car show dubbed Mk1 Madness in Eastern Pennsylvania. This was essentially a show for VW enthusiasts and those of the very specific focus of the first-generation water-cooled cars like the Giugiaro-penned Golf I. We went to cover the show for our sister publication VWvortex though we were very pleasantly surprised to find an Audi on the field.

The Canadian enthusiast scene has always been one to watch. From the early days of revolutionary swaps and builds (looking at you RPI and Shawn van Neer) to today’s events like Eurokracy with intense house party feel amidst the fog of tire burnouts. This year marked the third year for the aforementioned Eurokracy Montreal, an event that’s quickly become Canada’s biggest VAG enthusiast gathering.

SoCal Euro 2013: Event Report

The 12th annual Big SoCal Euro event was another wild success, with thousands of predominantly European cars of all types piling into the Qualcomm Stadium parking lot for an afternoon of car heaven.
