Much like the SEMA Show and also the Essen Motor Show, Tuning World Bodensee is more aftermarket industry show than enthusiast gathering… though it still likely qualifies as both. While private owners of show cars certainly vie to show their cars here, Tuning World Bodensee is also the place for tuning houses like Abt Sportsline or MTM to show off their latest product. More…
Earlier today we launched our new 4 Season 2013 Audi TT S line test series. As we considered just which car to add to our fleet, one new Audi we also considered was the facelifted 2013 Audi Q5 3.0 TFSI. As we’re want to do in our consideration, we put together a mockup of the project in order to better visualize it internally. More…
Over the last few weeks we’ve Caractere has revealed their latest body kit treatments for the A5/S5 Sportback and A5/S5 coupe. With a look very similar to the new RS 6 and RS 7 from Audi, these kits offer an OE+ look that not even Audi offers in its A5/S5/RS 5 family. Completing the effort now is the new A5/S5 Cabriolet fitment revealed in these photos. More…
Recently we ran a new collection of real world shots of Prior Design’s GT850 widebody kit for the Audi R8. Now, here we are a few days later and the German tuning firm is releasing a second set, this time of a matte orange facelifted R8 wearing the same upgrades and graphics on the door that suggest it’s headed for display at SuperCars Monaco 2013. Up until now Akrapovic has had a limited mix of applications for Audi models. This included the R8 5.2 (pre-facelift as exhaust tips have changed), TTS and V8-powered S5. We’ve been pondering whether their TTS “slip-on” exhaust would fit our new 2013 TT S line competition and made a visit to the site and were encouraged by what we found. More…
Just over a week ago, the Audi tuning firm Caractere pulled the wraps off of their latest kit for the facelifted A5 Sportback. Here we are just days later and first photos of the application for the A5/S5 coupe have surfaced and, as hoped, embrace the same OE+ C7 RS-look theme as that of the Sportback. More…

A few months ago we ran a story about a new widebody application from Prior Design for the R8. That story was complimented by CGI photos, but now the German tuning firm has released real world photos of the package. Not surprisingly, the look is aggressive, with the aforementioned flared fenders and some other unique styling cues. More…
One of our favorite trends in aftermarket body kits is the push for an OE+ appearance. With so many fantastic-looking new performance levels within Audi’s range, there’s no need to reinvent the wheel (or bumper). Some manufacturers like Caractere are taking the latest Audi design cues and using them to richly upgrade the appearance of an Audi. A great example is this new treatment for the facelifted A5 (and presumably S5) that adopts the front bumper appearance of the new RS 6 and RS 7 models for Audi’s mid-level coupe. More…
Regulars in our Audi TT Mk2 Discussion Forum will have already noticed that we’ve got a new sponsor in there by the name of MSS. This new startup is quickly making a name for itself with its spring kits for magnetic ride equipped TT models and we hear it’s only a matter of time before they branch out. In order to learn more about the system, frequent Fourtitude contributor Nick Roshon has been kind enough to file a first hand report on experiences with the MSS kit equipped in a TT RS. More…
To create positive attention and therefore settle out of the crowd, a car must either fall out of the frame in terms of performance or show visual advantages. Ideally even both. More…
