Vossen Wheels are known for handsome cleanly-designed alloy wheels. The S3 sedan is a great-looking new entry to the Audi lineup that’s just hitting the market and winning over owners looking to modify their cars. Put the two together and you’re guaranteed a winner. Thanks to Vossen Japan, we don’t have to imagine the result.
What you see here is a Sepang Blue Japanese market Audi S3 sedan. Clearly the car is lowered and we’ve not confirmed what suspension is fitted. The wheel fitment is quite a bit more obvious – Vossen’s CVT 10-twist spoke design in monoblock construction.
Proving they have a considerable eye for detail, Vossen requires four molds for its CVT wheel design whereas similar wheels from other companies require 1 or 2. The reason for this is that most twist designs with four identical wheels featuring twisting spokes result in spokes twisting one way on one side of the car and the other way on the opposite side. With the CVT, owners can have spokes twisting frontward or backward, even with square or staggered fitment.
